Epic and filter question

• Can epics be attached to issues across projects, or if each project has an epic with the same name will these appear in Jira filters?

Hi @Matthew Chapman,

Epics can be attached to multiple issues across different projects within your Jira environment, there is no need to recreated epics.

When you create a scrum- or kanban board you select multiple projects, from there you can easily use the epic panel to assign issues to epics. You could also use the epic-link field to do the same.
