Epic name is not mandatory by default , is that any changes made by atlasian?

Hi,

Whenever i am trying to create a epic before the epic name is not mandatory , does the atlassian made any changes regarding this ? please by giving the information on same

As I see in the changelog, the epic name field is not mandatory anymore starting on  15/01/2023

Maybe someone in your organization with jira admin rights change the field config of the project you want to create an epic in and set the epic name field as mandatory... You should check your project config if you can...
