Is there a way in Jira software (cloud) to show Epics in time windows (say, sprints, quarter, years) on an epics board?
The Roadmaps functionality is typically used to visualize Epic along a timeline in Jira.
Team-Managed (NextGen) Projects have some Roadmap functionality baked in.
Company-Managed (Classic) Projects can also access one of two levels of Roadmap support, depending on which Jira plan you are on:
Roadmaps are a separate View at the same level as the Sprint/Kanban and Backlog views in Jira. So they're not technically a "board", but they are still a good visualization tool.
Pretty pictures here: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/features/roadmaps
Lots more documentation on-line, depending on which flavor of Roadmaps you're most likely to start with. Hope that helps!
Thanks @Mykenna Cepek for your response. It was very clear that you also understood my question/request, that I am looking for a board view to show epics and stories in a time window/timebox compared to the roadmap/bars going across the time continuum. We are using Jira Software Premium. The question I have here is by "Advanced Roadmaps" is that the capabilities to create and view them under "Plans"? What other differences/benefits of these Advanced Roadmaps compared to Jira Align? Cheers... Murali

Hi @Murali Ramdas
In case you consider using add-ons, I'd like to recommend Planyway on behalf of the Planyway team. You can visualize epics on the timeline there, which can be scaled to weekly, monthly, and quarterly views.

Thanks @[deleted]. What will an add-on entail? Additional costs, etc.?

Hi @Murali Ramdas,
there's a free 30-day trial period, then the subscription is billed monthly based on the number of users registered under your domain. You can check the prices in the Pricing tab and let me know if any questions.
Have a lovely upcoming weekend ^_^
