When attempting to "Pull" data from Salesforce within the Jira ticket - I receive the below validation error: Error! Jira validation failed

I am unable to resolve it after hours of attempting to edit mappings and settings. Can someone please assist? Thank you!

Hi @Shanna Mertel

Your error seems to be related to our Appfire - Connector for Salesforce and Jira. Can you let us know if that's true?

If it is, the error happens when you have an incompatible mapping or the values used in the value mapping.

If you want, we can check this on a ticket, or you can contact us here:

Livechat

In the live chat, one of our engineers can check the error on a quick video call.

Let us know if you need anything!

Regards

Hey @Shanna Mertel ,

Welcome to the Community!

Please can you elaborate the "pull data from Salesforce" Use case, are you trying to create a new ticket, or trying to update a certain custom field via API? (Please share the API that you're using too)

This will help narrow down the scenario and let us identify the cause of the error better.

Thanks! I was able to get on with chat support and figured out which mapping was causing the problem. Thanks goodness!
