We needed to add more content, but we received an error with the following message: "We couldn't update the Description value." I have a ticket in which the description includes tables, attachments, lists, and text. 

I would like to know the root cause and how can I fixed it so that I can add more content again. Thank you.

How do you try to update the description value? Automation? Or manual update?

In Atlassian Jira Cloud, the character limit for the description field of an workitem is typically 32,768 characters. This limit applies to the combined total of all text, formatting, and any embedded elements (like images or links) within the description.

If your description is lengthy, consider breaking it into smaller sections or summarizing the content to fit within Jira's limits.
