I am in JIRA 3.13 and i have a strange issue.
When I search for issues under a project in find issues it list all the issues.
But when i click on the ticket and try to open the ticket, i get an error.
I am logged in as admin and i have necessary permissions.
The error is below,
ERROR
The project you are trying to view does not exist. Try browsing for projects.
If you think this message is wrong, please consult your administrators about getting the necessary permissions.
That was a life saver for me.
Copying the propeerty files helped me to resolve the issue.

I am able to view the issues in other projects with same permission scheme.
I had done a xml restore for this instance recently.

Have you tried re-indexing the JIRA instance after XML restore.

Can you check if there is any issue security level configured for issues within that project. This might be restricting you to view the issues within the project.
