Error on importing Jira Back up

Hi All,

I am trying to import a xml file from JIRA 6.2.5 to JIRA 6.4. XML has all the backup from version 6.2.5

(I am trying to import a zip file having entities.xml and activeobjects.xml)

I am getting below error:

Error parsing export file. Your export file is invalid. This may be due to a CDATA bug in older versions of JIRA (http://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-4980). Exception is org.xml.sax.SAXParseException; lineNumber: 1; columnNumber: 1; Content is not allowed in prolog.

Can some one help please?

Hi Boris,

I have the same issue with an export from JIRA 6.4 which I want to restore into a JIRA 7.1.4

I've tried to workaround mentioned in http://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-4980 but that didn't help. Do you have any other suggestions to fix this problem?
