Error when trying to use the new add on

we have installed the add on "grouped filter results portlet". When we add the gadget to the dashboard , we are gettign the below error:

The resource /rest/api/2/issueLinkType, cannot be found.

What could be the reason ?

It seems issue linking is disabled on your JIRA. We're working on update to fix it.
