Expanding # of users

I'm an admin on our account but I can't seem to add users.  Getting help from Atlassian hasn't been a simple process to unwind either, everything is designed to point me to self-help resources that aren't helping.  

I'm a newbie here so I'm not ruling out pilot error for sure, just need some help from the control tower.

Hello @John Walker 

If you want to switch from the Free subscription to a paid subscription follow these steps:

1. Navigate to https://admin.atlassian.com

2. Click on the Billing option at the top of the screen. You should then see all your products and the third party apps you have installed.

3. For the product where you want to move to a paid plan, click the Manage option to the right. You should then see another presentation of your products and apps each with an option like this:

4. Click on Change to go to the screen where you can change from the Free plan to the paid plan of your choice.

5. Click on the Start free trial button. The next screen will give you the option to enter your billing information.

You will need to enter your billing information. Without that, at the end of the free trial period your account will be suspended and you won't be able to access it without re-subscribing and entering billing info.

Hello @John Walker

Welcome to the Community!

You should be able to go to: https://start.atlassian.com/

From there select 'Administration'.

Select 'Directory' from the menu options at the top.

You should then see a button 'Invite Users'.

These instructions should work with a free account - as I just tested it myself on my own free instance.

BTW, I get that we're on a free version.  My intent is to get us onto a paid version with more users.
