Hi,
I've had some troubles setting up a free Jira Core and Software tier for our starting small business, as I thought I had landed on the wrong plan given that I am used to the new Jira look (with the topbar in white), and had landed on an older version with the full blue sidebar. I have then tried to delete my whole website at the above URL hoping that I could recreate it on the newer version of Jira.
Is it possible to expedite the site deletion process (which is 1 month from now) so that I can recreate a site with the same URL, hopefully on the newer JIRA interface ? Our team will shortly be switching to JIRA and I hope that we can begin on the newer version to prevent mix-ups from our team members upon rolling of the new version of JIRA.
Thanks a lot for your time,
Best regards.
Hi @Titouan Launay,
welcome to the Atlassian community.
I'm sorry for the startup problems you encounter. The Atlassian community is a place where other Atlassian users try to help you with your problems.
However, the problem you stated is nothing where another user has permissions to do so. You can try contacting the Atlassian support if they're able to help you (even if you're not eligible for Atlassian support in the free version).
Give it a try: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/
Cheers,
Matthias.
Edit: As @Shannon S stated, please continue asking here for support and not as I advised initially via the link above.
if you need to reach out to support while on a Cloud Free plan, you can just raise your question here like you did. The Community Support team will be alerted to your question, and we can assist you from there, getting additional support involved if necessary!

Hello @Titouan Launay,
I hope you are doing well. Matthias reached out to me on this, and so I had a look at your case. At this time, you just want someone from Atlassian to release your Cloud domain so you can re-register with it, is that right?
If so, I can help you take care of that through the Customer Advocate ticket you already created, and we can make sure to get you back on track.
Once you're back up and running, I can assist you along with support to get you the help you need.
By the way, in the future, if you need to reach out to support while on a Cloud Free plan, you can just raise your question here like you did. The Community Support team will be alerted to your question, and we can assist you from there, getting additional support involved if necessary!
Take care,
Shannon

Hi @Shannon S, thanks a lot for your reply!
Yes deleting the cloud site would be my main request, I would also have liked the new site that I would register to be on the servers that have already rolled out the new JIRA navigation interface, but I guess this would be a mere inconvenience that we have to deal with and might be a trouble for you, so if that can't be done it would be more than ok.
Thanks again for your reply and your time, and for making our options to get support clear!
Best regards.

Hi @Titouan Launay,
Thank you so much for clarifying. I've sent your request over to the team that can help verify and complete the deletion, along with a summary of the issue so far.
The issue at hand here is that the Customer Advocates can help to remove the domain, but it needs to first be verified technically by support, which is what I'm having done for you now.
Please check your email and you will see that new request number. Someone will be in touch with you shortly so we can get you into your new Jira Software site!
Regards,
Shannon
