Exporting Epic attributes and user story/task names

Dave Phillips June 11, 2018

I am trying to put together a report to share with business stakeholders of Epics, Epic attributes (Priority, Status, Description) and the User Story or Tasks within (just a listing of issue #, name\description) similar to the below image.

Is it possible to get this exported in some type of easy to work with format?

Thank you,

-Dave

1st - total newbie here. But I had the same problem. I went the long way around to extract a csv file which worked for me at the time. I wouldn't call that the most elegant answer to your question. *But*, if you're comfortable manipulating CSV files of 'all the things' you could try that. I had a very short deadline to work with and could move faster with a CSV file vs. digging through how to do it the best way inside of Jira. Looking forward to seeing others answer your ("our") question!

How I exported: discovered how to get to "advanced search" from the "All Issues and Filters" link. The icon to the left of the ellipse (downward pointing arrow with a "roof" on it...what is that icon called???) is the export menu.
