Hi @Sebastian Krzewiński

If you’re thinking about exporting Jira data to Snowflake, there are a few things to consider first:

  • Which projects and fields you actually need.
  • Whether you need historical data or just current issues.
  • How often the data should update — one-time export vs. ongoing sync.
  • Handling attachments, comments, and relationships if you need full context.

Trying to build all this with scripts can get tricky, especially for large datasets or multiple projects.

In your case, you may want to explore, an Atlassian Solutions Partner,  OpsHub Integration Manager (OIM) , a bidirectional, no code, data rich, enterprise-grade integration platform that can help you —  pull the right data, preserve history and relationships, and keep things in sync (Unidirectional or bidirectional), all this without needing to write custom code.

Hi @Sebastian Krzewiński ,

If you don't mind using an app from the Atlassian Marketplace, you can look at our Snowflake for Jira app. You get everything out of the box and it is easy to configure directly within Jira.

Kind regards,

You can use Skyvia (https://skyvia.com/data-integration/integrate-jira-snowflake) to export selected Jira project data and fields directly to Snowflake without writing scripts. It supports filtering by project and field selection, and you can schedule the export to run automatically.
