Hello, I'd like to ask if there is a possibility to extend the scope of Time Tracking Report? To be more precise, I'd like to add one more column with "Assignee" data to the existing report.

Hi  @Michał Kwiatkowski  👋

I guess you can try Time in Status for Jira Cloud (developed by my SaaSJet team) with 7 types of status time reports

One of them is Assignee time report.

This add-on has a 30-day free trial version and free up to 10 users.
Please, let me know if you have any questions 😌

Hope it helps,

Hi @Michał Kwiatkowski

you might consider using time-tracking apps that in most cases have a customizable report of tracked time on issues.

I can recommend our Clockwork Automated Time Tracking & Timesheets Pro app, which offers you the possibility to review timesheets and create reports that can be configured in various ways using break-down and filtering options. In your case you can simply choose what project you would like to include in the timesheet and choose users which you would like to see.

We've recently added an option to create Teams and use it to filter the data in the timesheet.

This way you can quickly see how much time was spent on a specific project, and team.

Please find below the sample of how the timesheet looks like:

Hi @Michał Kwiatkowski

You can try Status Time Reports app developed by our team. It mainly provides reports and gadgets based on how much time passed in each status.

Here is the online demo link, you can see it in action and try without installing the app. For your case, you can have a look at Time in Assignee report. For further details, please check Status Time Reports How to Videos.

  • This app has a dynamic status grouping feature so that you can generate various valuable reports as time in status, time in assignee, status entry dates and status counts, cycle time and lead time, average/sum reports by any field(e.g. average in progress time by project, average cycle time by issue creation month).
  • You can search issues by Project, Issue Type, Status, Assignee, Issue Creation/Resolution Date(and any other Date field) and JQL Query.
  • Status durations are calculated according to the working calendar you define. Once you enter your working calendar into the app, it takes your working schedule into account too. That is, "In Progress" time of an issue opened on Friday at 5 PM and closed on Monday at 9 AM, will be a few hours rather than 3 days.
  • You can set different duration formats.
  • You can export reports in CSV file format and open them in MS Excel.
  • You can also add this app as a gadget to your Jira dashboards and reach “Status Time” from Issue Detail page.
  • You can enable/disable access to Status Time reports&gadgets and Issue Detail page per project, users, groups or project role.

If you are looking for a completely free solution, you can try the limited version Status Time Free.

Hope it helps.

Hi @Michał Kwiatkowski

OOTB reports are limited in features. A mktplace app can help you to get this data.

You can try out our add-on

The app provides the following features.

  • Worklogs Report :
    • Create reports for time entered by your team members
    • Filter/Categorize/Group By your worklogs data

Hi @Michał Kwiatkowski ,

You can try to generate a time report in the Cost Tracker for Jira Cloud app (developed by my team).

There is an Assignee column available there.

There are 30 days of the trial for you. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us.

I demonstrate an example of a time report in the screenshot below.

Have a great day!

Hi @Michał Kwiatkowski

If this is one of the included reports of Jira, it's not really possible to extend or add features to them. You would need to submit a feature request to atlassian.

However many users rely on third party tooling for reports within Jira. Depending where you want to see the reports there are different options. For dashboards my company uses Rich Filters for Jira to make dynamic reports. Reporting wise though we are still gathering requirements to find out the reporting tool we want. But there are many

Best,

Clark
