I am working on importing the comments on existing tickets using CSV. I have more than 900k records to import.
It is not possible to import on one go. What is the maximum records (rows) allowed for each import for cloud hosted jira project.
Can anyone help me to estimate the work hour.

On the amount of issues there are no limitations for as far as i know if you are an admin.
If you are not an admin, i believe there is a limit of 250 issues at a time.
However 900k issues is a lot, do you really need them all?
It will take a lot of time to import and index them so i would split it up in smaller batches (10k or something)

Thanks for answering. We are using small batches of 2k to 3k to avoid slowness. But for a huge volume it is pain of doing repeatedly. If we know the max limit is 5k, then we can use it.
