Hello! We have few fields (see the screenshot) that our teams are unable to add information to. It doesn't let you click into it and input text. I thought it might be a screen scheme issue with those fields not being mapped to an edit view, but that seems accounted for.
I can add text to "Description" and "Instructions for Testers", but "Additional Deploy Steps", "Database Updates" and "Release Notes" are not active. Any thoughts?
Thank you in advance!
Hi @Jordan Trinklein - If this is impacting the entire team, you may want to look at the custom field contexts (Settings >> Issues >> Custom Fields). It is possible that the project is not included in the custom field context scope.
Correct - That confirms it's not an issue with field context.
I'm at a loss if you've validated that Edit Issues screen(s) for the applicable issue type(s) includes those fields. That is typically where the issue would be.

@Mark Segall If the edit issue screen scheme doesn't have those fields, would they display in edit mode?

Yes - They would display, but they would not be editable which sounds like your issue.

@Mark Segall - I DID overlook something in the edit issue screen.
Thanks for the help Mark! I appreciate it!

Hi @Mark Segall ! Thanks for your response. Unless I'm looking at this wrong, the context is global, so it should apply to all projects within this Jira site?
