I have issues in Jira that are created automatically through emails sent to Jira (using the jemh add-on). The reporter field is set to the sender of the email which in some cases are noreply@mydomain.com. When I send notifications (using jemh) on issue updates I get errors (in logs and in the issue) that the email could not be delivered. Now I wonder if there is a way to filter emails so that they are not sent if the email adress matches the noreply-adress. Or do I need to talk to the Exchange-team.
Running a public JIRA with many external customers sending in from (not real) mail-addresses I face similar issues, a JIRA feature pr. user like "disable all outgoing mail" would be nice.
Anyway, I generally try to tackle this within my own system, eg. on the relay/mail server with filtering or rules.
