Flagging

When setting a JIRA card as "flagged", are there any configurations to the "flagged" color displayed?

For example, I would like to flag cards as impediments (red flag, yellow color) or as under review (yellow flag, blue color). 

Or any other suggestion on being able to visually identify this without adding ANOTHER column.

Hey Kenny - welcome to the community!

Not sure about changing the color for the background of the card or the flag itself. However, you can change the strip on the far left side by tying it to a JQL query. 

To do that, you go to Board Settings, then Card colors. The JQL would look something like, Flagged is not empty. Then change the color to whatever you want.
