For an Agile Board containing multiple projects, can I display Versions for just one project?

Lauren Cabrera February 27, 2019

I have an Agile board set up for a project that contains issues in two projects. Is there a way to configure the board to only display versions for one project on the board's Versions panel?

Below is an screenshot demonstrating what I am looking for:

I have tried changing the board's query to only display issues in both projects that do not belong to the unwanted versions, but the board just excludes the issues while still displaying the version in the Versions Panel UI.

EDIT: I would like to hide the versions just for one specific board without affecting any other boards containing issues in those versions.

You can do this by archiving the fixversion in the project admin section. I know this probably isn't what you were looking for, but that would limit the view of version they would see in the agile planning board.

They can then be 'unarchived' whenever you do want them to show up there and have issues assigned to them again.

Issues that are assigned to that fix version before it's archived will stay assigned to that version, but any new issues will only be able to be assigned to unarchived versions.

Thanks for the reply. I probably should have clarified in my original post, but do you know of a way to do something similar to your answer without affecting how the fixversion would appear on other boards containing issues with that fixversion?

Following my original example, I have another board only containing issues in project MMCT that I don't want to affect. If I archive the MMCT fixversions, they won't show up on any boards.

I do not know of any way to do that.

I appreciate the help! It is a bit of an unusual business requirement.
