Forecast via Version report

Hi, I am looking to use version report to forecast a tentative release date for one of my project, however, it appears that the report won't produce a release date unless '3 sprints worth of work has been completed' (our sprint is of 2W) .. is it true ? if it is, how does one produce a forecast or release date for smaller projects that tend to last for 4-5 sprint. 

In the current scenario, one has to wait until the start of the 4th sprint to get forecasts!

Please help with workarounds or options. Thanks!!

Try our Great Gadgets app for Jira & Confluence. It offers a Release Burndown Burnup chart that can generate forecast based on current team progress/velocity.
