Forge - Restrict Jira issue delete operation

Hi,

I have a custom plugin created for my use case in Jira cloud using a forge that is hosted in my instance, and some of the data are displayed in the issue panel. Now, I would like to restrict the delete operation of the issue when the issue panel displays the data from my plugin.

Tried to leverage the automation to restrict, but no luck.

Tried workflow status properties to disable the option, but this option may cause put in a workload on the workflow if we are going to do the setup for more projects.

so, would like to find a solution to achieve this. any help is much appreciated.
