HeIlo,
I want to create this automation rule:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/forms-using-automation-to-notify-a-user-when-a-form-has-been-submitted-on-an-issue-1319246880.html
I'm using jira cloud and Form Submit trigger isn't available in my jira board automation section. Can someone please help me how can I enable it?
Thanks
Hi Gazi - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Did you follow the guidance of the document exactly? You have to begin within the Service project or you will not see the trigger.
Hi @John Funk ,
I followed exactly the steps on the link. I was trying to do it in Business Project.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Ah, then you did not follow the exact steps, because it said to start in your service project. haha. Seriously, that's the issue - seems to only be available from JSM projects.

Thanks a tons @John Funk I was able to make it work. The email is sending with respective concern person with form as attachment link. I used attach form action in the automation rule.
The form (pdf) is able to download by jira service board people only. Is it possible to share the form publicly in the email body?
Thanks

since forms feature is now available in software and business project, can we make this form submission trigger available in software and business project too?

No, this will not work for the built in forms now available for software and business projects. It is for "advanced" or "proforma" forms only.
