Formatting issue description

Is there a way to do basic formatting of issue descriptions or even comments?

I tried to activate the Renderer Plugin, but couldn't find it in my Admin settings.

We are doing Textile formatting in our current issue tracker at the moment which works perfectly fine. I could also live with a visual formatting like here. Would be great if you could help.

The renderers are chosen in the field configurations for the project/issue-type. On the page you've already linked to, look for "Configuring renderers" and then follow the link there to "specifying field behaviour"

If you want to use renderers other than the built-in ones, then you'll need to find or write plugins to enable your formatting. As you're using OnDemand, I don't think there's a lot of scope for adding any though.

Thanks for your help Nic. It indeed seems to be impossible to install one as I am using OnDeman.

I hope the Atlassian guys come up with a solution for that.
