how could we revert back to free plan, we recently met the error 'Jira Software will be deactivated in 7 days' for our project in jira

Hi @TinaYang ,

to revert to the Free plan, you'll need to take the following steps:

Access Administration:

1. Choose Settings (  ) >  Billing >  Manage subscriptions

2. Choose Change next to your plan name

3. Select the Free plan to switch your subscription from the paid plan to the Free plan.

4. Confirm and Save Changes.

To successfully change to the Free plan for a Jira Cloud product, you need to have 10 users or fewer (Jira Software or Jira Work Management) or 3 agents or fewer (Jira Service Management). If you're over that limit when you try to change your plan, the change will fail and you'll remain on your current plan.

Then i clicked contact your jira admin i got the below message.

To downgrade Jira Software to Free, you will require permissions either Billing admins, Organization admins, or Site administrators. 

contact your site or Organization administrators to change your plan.
