Function link to Planning pages (Confluence page) doens't work

Jira Software (Cloud) has a feature where, to the left sidebar, below Planning, Development, and Operations, you can add more things (functions) through Project Settings). One of these which I always like to add is a nice big fat link to the teams' relevant Confluence page. However, when trying to do so, in both of my teams, I'm dealing with an error message when trying to click the resulting Project Pages link.

We are unable to display project pages at this time If refreshing does not fix the problem, Please contact support .

I am certain that the link is right, since when trying to add it through the project settings (within the Toolchain) it even displays the right thumbnail icon. In this area, when I click the three dots behind the relevant Confluence space, I can choose to go to the Conlfuence page, or the Project Space. Clicking the former works; clicking the latter gives me the exact same above error. I am however unable to select here where the link will take users, when clicking it in the regular Jira project environment. Can anybody help me with this?

Remove and add the document space as a connection for another (second) time. "Have you tried turning it off & on again twice?" :-) this did the trick for me

Hi @Daniel de Vries

Do you have a Confluence space linked to the project, see image

If so does the team have Confluence licenses and the correct access to the space?

Hi @Marc - Devoteam , Thanks for responding.

I'm not sure where I can edit my Project Pages (Projectpagina's). I have Administrator & Project Administrator rights.

To your second question: Yes, I for sure have Confuence license and correct access to the Confluence documentation, when using the actual URL.

The problem is that when clicking the Project pages link in the sidebar, an error appears:Jira Error.PNG

When setting up the link within the Toolchain, the three dots which I explained before offer this little menu. "Openen in Confluence" brings me to the correct Confluence environment. The "Openen in Pages" give me the exact same error as above.

I understand from your comment that I might be able to fix it within that Project Pages "settings" page which you screenshotted. Any clue why I can't seem to find it? OR where I should look? Thanks in advance

Hi @Daniel de Vries

Then I would suggest to contact Atlassian Support with the issue occurring as it's seems localised in you instance.

I assume it's something in your setup that's not working.

Hi @Marc - Devoteam , I thought I was already in contact with Atlassian Support (or the community, of course) on this issue, as the page you provided is the exact page which I filled in & followed, ending up on this thread I created.

However,

For one on my teams, all of a sudden, the project pages displays the confluence documentation. I will double check with the other team what settings are different and troubleshoot it like that. Not sure what's different or what changed, but I'm happy as long as it's progressing.

Allright, so apparently just removing and adding the document space as a connection for another (second) time did the trick. "Have you tried turning it off & on again twice?" :-)

Solved, thanks for helping out.
