Generic connector for creating JIRA issues by pulling data from a REST API

We have a SaaS product where we raise few alerts per day per customer. One of our customer is hosting JIRA on-prem and wants to create JIRA issue for each alert in our SaaS platform.

I am looking for a plugin which can query a REST API (exposed by our SaaS product) and create JIRA issue.

Just above feature would be useful, but if it can update JIRA issue when alert is updated and work in reverse (change alerts status when JIRA issue status changes) would be super-useful.
