Hello,
My Confluence suddenly stopped and I'm getting the message below when I browse to it:
I rebooted the VM multiple times to no avail.
Please help.
in case the source was the vulnerability announced lately I'd suggest to scan the server thoroughly for signs of a possible compromise.
If so, restoring the server from a backup proven not being hacked might make absolutetely sense.
Reading what the malware is capable of there are signs it tends to "come back" (leaving some backdoors). The specific 'miner' is also reported to make connections to other systems via SSH connections - in case there is ANY sign of hack it might be needed to check connected systems, too.
Hopefully it is not the case and the mitigation script alongside with an upgrade long-term is everything that was needed for your case - or you are even already on a supported and non-vulnerable version.
Regards,
Daniel
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!!!
I am not sure why this happening, may be the recent vulnerability.
Please go through this document which version of confluence is you have and upgrade to fix version.
Because one of are confluence instance also went through the same problem, kind of DDOS Attack.
Please raise a ticket to Atlassian Support, and provide all the logs to them to analyse.
