I am experiencing an issue with the application link between my Jira and Confluence instances running in Docker containers. Previously, everything was working fine in the past, but now I'm encountering the following error in Jira:
No remote application link
We can't connect with Confluence because a reciprocal application link is missing on that server. You'll need to delete and then re-create this application link.

Have you confirmed if Jira and Confluence are reaching each other? You can test this using something like "curl." I know it's obvious, but I've seen people struggling because the URL has a typo. Double-check that too. Also, have you created the link on both sides? Otherwise, the logs are where you will certainly find an indication of why you're getting the error.
