Getting "The current scheduling result does not contain any initiatives." in Jira Portfolio

I've been trying out JIRA Portfolio. It's been working well, but suddenly I'm getting a message like the following when trying to view the schedule report for initiatives, epics, and stories.

 "The current scheduling result does not contain any initiatives."

Found it! I had changed things with stages. I used the "Stages: All" filter to select a specific stage and then switch back to all stages and everything showed up again!
