Hi,
I'm trying to integrate Jira and GitHub. I have the GitHub for Jira by Atlassian App installed and connected. I have a Jira project set up and linked to the repository.
When I go into "Settings --> Apps --> GitHub for Jira --> Configure" I see that it is linked. I tried to run the backfill and it completes, but I see nothing in Jira anywhere. I looked in the project issues, tried to remove all filters, but it looks like nothing is there.
The repo seems to be connected to the project, I see it in "Project --> Settings --> Toolchain --> Build", but none of the issues, commits or anything come through.
Am I missing a link?
Hi John Paul Spiro
Did you give Github for Jira the right permissions please? Perhaps it is on a hidden screen.
Another route you can take is Exalate. It was designed with exactly these types of use-cases in mind, you could say that it is our "bread and butter".
It is an integration solution that works super fast in my opinion. It provides robust syncronization capabilities and you can granuarly decided what you want to send to the other side and how you want to apply receiving information.
I have been using it for quite a while and it instantly jumped in my thoughts reading this post. Hope to have helped you
