us-sef June 6, 2018

Hi all,

In our project in JIRA, we have multiple boards, but we need to give acces to some users only to a specific board so they can't see the others. Is this possible ?

Board permissions are defined by the filter associated with the filter. Change the filter permissions to selected groups to restrict the access.

Our project is secured by roles and permissions, if we give a persone the "Guest role" he can see all the boards available, but we only need to let him see 1 of them. We did change the sharing criteria and we added a group that contain this person without adding him to the project and it didn't work.

They should have access to the project but not to the filter. Is that how you set it up?

They dont have acces to the project but the board is shared with there group.

If they do not have access to the project, they won't be able to see the issues.
