Atlassian tracks Google Analytics Information. I have a few questions about this:

• How anonymous is this information really?
• What are the possibilities to switch this off? Is this recommended?

Here you can see what information is sent when analytics is on:

Yes, you can disable this functionality in your Jira Administration section:

Administration -> System -> Advanced -> Analytics

In this section you can also see a data example that is sent to Atlassian.
