Hey everyone,
I am trying to setup different Jira projects so we can work with outsourcing teams.
Ideally, I'd like to create a Jira project for each of these teams so they only have access to their issues. Every team should have the same permissions: (Browser project, Create issues, Edit issues, Add Comments, Edit Own Comments, ... blablabla)
Is there any way to give the same set of permissions to 5 different groups in 5 different projects?
I've tried to copy/paste the options in the "Grant Permission" box, but that won't work :')
Many thanks,
Hi @Laura Lopez You can create shared permission scheme between the projects using project roles and assign your groups in Project roles for the suitable access required.
Hi @Laura Lopez ,
Welcome to the community !!
You can do it by making use of project role, groups mapping. i.e.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Thank you so much!
This was super helpful - I hadn't thought of using the project roles until now!
