Problem
I curantly have three developement teams working on the same project, each team is working from there own backlog and have there own sprints. I have set up three boards, one for each team and setup the filter to only show the issues for they components the team is responsable for. The problem is there are a few overlaps with the components, two teams are working on some of the same components. This results in the issues appearing in both there board backlogs even if the issue is already assinged to a sprint in another boards backlog.
Question
Is there a way to filter out issues that have already been assinged to a spring on another board?
You could start using labels rather than components.
If you do some JQL to select all your issues for the sprint for each component and then do a bulk edit and add a label for say teamA. You can then change your filters to look for labels teamA, teamB and teamC.
In Work View of the Agile Boards, if you are viewing a board which contains multiple sprints, you should be able to click the sprints in the filter bar, and it will filter down the issues to be just those in that sprint.
The above answer probably indicates a better way to arrange your teams' separation of tasks, however.
