Would like to use the Harvest Time Tracking option in Jira Client for Mac but a popup appears "Details aren’t enabled yet. Looks like Harvest Time Tracking hasn’t enabled in-app details". In browser the harvest time tracking works well.

What does it mean?

Hi Demetrius,

I am an Engineering Manager on the team that builds the Mac, iOS and Android apps for Jira. This Harvest Time Tracking is built by a 3rd party developer (not Atlassian) and they need to enable their app to work for the native apps in order for you to be able to use it. This pop-up you see should have a link to the developer of Harvest Time Tracking's support page where you can contact them to request that they enable their app for the Mac client.

Our documentation for developers to support the Mac, iOS and Android clients can be found here: https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/developing-apps-for-jira-cloud-mobile/

Cheers,

Josh

@Josh Carolan

Our app Issue Checklist Pro/Free is enabled to work with native Atlassian apps but we have exactly the same problem with iOS app, i.e.:

  • The Glance is enabled
  • iOS app shows "Checklist" element
  • After touching the "Checklist" element I get "Details aren’t enabled yet...."

Our customers report the same problems and I reproduced it personally.

We have reported the issue here: https://community.developer.atlassian.com/t/glance-no-longer-works-on-jira-ios-app/40380

Can you let us know what we can do about it? Did our app get disabled somehow for iOS?

Thanks,
Jack

Hello @Demetrius Schneider,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

I installed the same add-on on my test site and the message also appears, so I believe this is a limitation that we currently have on the Jira for Mac and Jira mobile where some add-ons don't work.

There is a feature request suggesting the implementation of such ability:

Please, click on vote and watch to receive updates about the feature.

Angélica
