Hate the new JIRA layout, I want the old one back.

Does anyone know how I can get the old JIRA layout back.

This new layout is terrible!

Nic, I emailed Atlassian/Jira.  This is there message back.

However, unfortunately, it's not possible to revert the UI to the old layout.
The new layout was rolled out to all our instances and even though I understand your point and appreciate your feedback, this the design that is going to be used.

So, you meant the switch from top to left menu, which has long been documented as irreversible.

Could you define "unable", after reading the two previous answers?

Do you mean

• the switch from having the menus at the top to the left hand side
• the new view issue layout

The first can't be fixed other than by upgrading to Server, the second is a setting in your profile

I think there is option in the profile setting to switch between layout.
