Hello, I am David Theroux. I have a question to ask regarding validators?

I have a customer I have created a custom field called DAQM Completed, It is a 2 option radio button with yes or no as the options. I am adding a validator to the workflow and the customer needs this button to be yes before the workflow will transition otherwise if it is no then it will not transition. my customer worded it like this: When the issue transitions from "External QA" to "EQA complete" -> field "DAQM completed" must be Yes otherwise the issue should not transition. I know how to add the validator just not sure what option to select for this need. Can anyone tell me which it would be to accomplish this?

Hello David, if I don't misunderstand, you need to use a validator that for the issue to transition to that specific state requires that the list type field have the "Yes" option selected.

If interpreted correctly, there is an option in the conditions, which tells you that to make a transition the field must contain a specific value. I attach the images of the condition:
