Please guide me on JIRA integration with IBM Rational DOORS. Please provide support so that I can setup and manage JIRA project with traceability with requirements manage in DOORS tool. As a beginner I have below queries.
How to integrate JIRA with IBM Rational Doors tool?
How DOORS tool requirements can be set up as new JIRA task? Will it show link to DOORS tool requirement?
If new requirement is added to DOORS , will it be available to JIRA automatically?
Thanks & Regards
Vineeta
Hi @Vineeta Wadkar ,
With easeRequirements for Jira you can now easily import ReqIF files of requirements which were exported from DOORS. When importing into Jira, all links, attributes and hierarchies are kept.
Please try it out,
Regards,
Jira and IBM Rational DOORS don’t connect out of the box, so you’ll need an integration tool to set up and manage that connection.
Most integration tools fall short when it comes to syncing structured requirements and keeping context intact. OpsHub Integration Manager (OIM) handles this well—syncing updates in real time, preserving links and hierarchy, and working without plugins or admin rights.
Let me know if this solves your challenge! Happy to answer any further questions.

Jira does not provide integration with DOORS by default. You would have to use an addon/ application or develop integration suite.
You can checkout the following app in Atlassian Marketplace which provides integration of Atlassian tools like Jira with IBM DOORS: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1215185/sync-ibm-rational-doors-with-atlassian?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
