Hi there! My question is about estimating individual efforts in a ticket

Whenever we create a task or a bug, we have this estimates field which is applied to the overall card but is there any way I can estimate at resource level?

E.g. Bug 1 if dev needs 2 days and tester need 3 days, I want to add individual estimate in that bug and not an overall 5 day estimate.

Is there any way we can do this?

Hi @Aditi Gopale , welcome to the Community!

Typically, Agile teams are meant to be cross-functional, so the 5d estimate would cover all pieces that need to be conducted, such as development and testing.

If your teams are not built this way, you could always break the Story out into multiple cards in one of two ways:

1. Story A for development vs Story B for testing

2. Story A for the overall requirement with Sub-task A for development and Sub-task B for testing

Yup, we do follow Agile. It's just for some tracking I needed a separate view too.
