I have two field tabs in all my screens. I need the default comments field only on field tab . The comments field is being displayed on both field tabs. How do I hide the comments fields in the second field tab. I have script runner , can I use it hide the comments field.
The comments are not placed in the field tabs, they are in their own section in the display, outside the field tabs.
So there's nothing to remove from the tabs.

Hi @Garden16_
I think it would be better if you share a screenshot , as far I know jira allow only to add one field per each tab.
Thanks

Again, comments are not a field, and they are not being displayed in the tabs, they are being displayed in their own section on the page.

You do not hide them, the comments are an important part of what an issue is for.
If you genuinely are not going to use them, turn them off, in the permission scheme.
