Is it possible to hide certain views of a Jira product discovery project from contributor profiles? How do I do this?
Thanks!
Hello @Micaela Pérez
No, in Jira Product Discovery (JPD) on Jira Cloud, it is not currently possible to hide specific views from contributors within a project unless you are on the Premium plan and use view-level permissions.
By default, contributors can see all views in a JPD project. There is no way to restrict certain views to only creators or to hide them from contributors on the Free or Standard plans. On the Premium plan, you can restrict access to individual views. This allows you to set a view's access level so that only selected users or groups (such as creators, or specific people) can see or edit a view - https://support.atlassian.com/jira-product-discovery/docs/view-permissions/
Atlassian is developing a "Stakeholder" role that allows you to share a single view with people outside the project, and they will only see that view-not the rest of the project. This feature is in early access and not generally available yet. Workarounds (if you are not on Premium)
You can create folders to help contributors know which views are intended for them, but this does not prevent access
