History of comment edits are not shown

Hi Team,

We recently noticed that Jira no longer shows the previous and current comments in history if a user uses the 'edit' comment feature. Is this new to Jira? or new to setup?
Can it be changed to show comment history by chance? We are on Data Center.

There is a very old request for this feature; you can vote for it and watch it at https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-12400

Hi @Lakshmi CH , you say that Jira no longer shows previous comment in history. So it did in the past? Can you tell what you have changed. Did you update or uninstall any plugin/app?
