Hi. I am looking at an issue. We use Structure.
I want to be able to open the Structure that the issue is a part of. Right now, I need to click the Structure Dropdown at the top of the page, hit Manage Structures, and search for it.
Is there not a way to open the Structure for this particular issue directly from the issue view page?
Thanks
Hi Igor. I too would like to see this feature added to Structure.
Thanks Chris - please vote/watch https://jira.almworks.com/browse/HJ-1524 so you get notified when it's done!

Hi Rowan,
The issue page should display "Structure" section with a selector that allows you to switch between displayed structures. At the top, the structures that contain the displayed issue are listed: https://wiki.almworks.com/x/hYM3
Do you not see the Structure section there?
Kind regards,
Igor

Hi Igor, thanks for responding.
I am trying to go from the Issue Page ( https://wiki.almworks.com/display/structure/Structure+on+the+Issue+Page ) directly to the Structure Board that that Issue is a part of ( https://wiki.almworks.com/display/structure/Structure+Board ).
What you described: On Issue page, easily add Issue to different Structures.
What I want: On Issue page, open Structure Board that that Issue is already in.
Thanks

Oh, I see. I don't think there's currently an easy way to do so, sorry. That's a good improvement request, actually. I've created an issue for it - please vote/watch to stay updated! https://jira.almworks.com/browse/HJ-1524
What might work as a workaround is, when you're on the issue page, switch to another structure, then switch back - this should result in the issue's structure becoming your "current" structure, and then if you go to the Structure Board, you should see it. Ugly, but should do it.
Hope this helps!
Igor

In version 2.8 we added an 'Open Structure Board' link that takes you to the structure displayed in the Structure widget on the issue details page (https://jira.almworks.com/browse/HJ-1524closed as Fixed).

If you know where you want to put the issue you can use keyboard shortcuts to move the issue in the structure. Here is the documentation:

Sorry Lathrop, I should have been more clear. I am looking at an issue that is already part of a Structure. In one click, I want to open up the Structure. How do I do that? Thanks
