How I restrict users to pick a wrong name from the User Picker Window

I have a User Picker Field called R2V_AE_Name where user can pick a name from the User Picker popup window. When a User select somebody else instead of his/her name, the system does not catch them or does not validate whether it is correct or not. Is there a way to put a condition/validation like the R2V_AE_Name has to belong to a Group or his/her log in name has to match the system name as logged in.

Appears to me that this feature is not available thus far on Jira, and it is yet to be implemented.

For on demand instances, user have limitation on selecting for plugins, therefore the Minyaa plugin is not available.

I would recommend you to vote and watch this improvement request if you would like to see it developed. Leave a comment on how this is useful to you so that the devs would have a better picture on how this impact the customers.
