Hi,
I am triying to extract out a list of items in Structure and maintain the order in a JIRA Issue Navigator query. However there doesnt appear to be any coresponding field for this in JIRA??
In JIRA there is the Rank field to show prioritied issues, but how and where does one find out the order of issues priotitised/ordered in Structure?

Hi Pratik,
In current Structure version, sorting is not supported natively. A structure is a hierarchical collection of issues - exactly in the same order as you have assembled it.
For example, if you take an empty structure, then run a JQL query with ORDER BY clause, resulting in sorted issues, then add all those issues to the structure - then you'll have an ordered structure. But if then some issue changes, the order of issues will not change.
Since you mention Rank, I can tell that if you're using JIRA Agile (GreenHopper), and use Rank to order issues on the Agile board, that order can be synchronized with a structure via GreenHopper synchronizer. Let me know if you need to learn more about that, or elaborate on what you're trying to accomplish.
Hope this helps!
Igor
What about the other way a round. Like Sync from structure to Jira Agile board

Hussein, you can indeed use GreenHopper/Agile synchronizer to transfer the order of issues from Structure to the Jira Agile board, provided that Jira Agile board uses a custom field (Rank) for ordering. Use Structure Manager, locate the structure and click Export - https://wiki.almworks.com/x/hYDR

Hi Igor
We've had a few user requests for this as well, however the requirement for us is more about being able to show detailed information on a Confluence page, so our issue would be resolved by being able to show the full description field (preferably other text fields as well) in the Structure widget. Is this something that might be considered?
Cheers
