I need to create a subtask to report bug tickets. These tickets should appear in the kanban board, below the parentask.

However I have not found the way to create it in the Project Settings / Issue types.

Is there any way to do that, or to convert the current subtask to become a bug type sub task?

Hello @David Zuniga

Welcome to the Atlassian Community.

Based on the image you provided I believe you are working with a Team Managed project. You can confirm this by looking at the bottom of the panel from which you grabbed that image.

At this time it isn't possible to add more subtask type issues to team managed projects.

There is a change request for that to which you can add your vote/comments.

Hi @David Zuniga

As per my understanding you need a new Subtask tyep named "Bug Sub-task". To do so you need to create a subtask from global settings i.e., Settings>issuetypes > create issuetype (while creating you need to select Sub-task type and give required name to it.

After which you will be able to add it in your project. Let me know if it helps.
