I have a long list of issue JIRA Tickets and in the backlog view you can see a summary of the tickets, along with the Epic (see in Green box) the ticket is associated to and the status shown in grey box of the ticket but what we need to also see is the value here for the original estimate.
Thanks for your help in advance
Hello @Claire Theuma
Based on your screen image I believe you are looking at a backlog for a Team Managed project. Can you please confirm that? It will say at the bottom of the navigation pane on the left that the project is either Team Managed or Company Managed.
The suggestion provided by @Nicolas Tagle works only for a Company Managed project. The ability to customize what displays on a card for Team Managed projects is not yet available. You can vote on the change request for that here:
Hi Trudy, thanks for responding. You are correct...I checked and I am using a Team Managed Project.
I did find a workaround which I posted in my reply to Nico but as I mention in my reply this was quite bit of effort.
I have just voted on this function - thanks

Hello Claire,
You can go to the three dots just below your profile icon in the upper right corner and select "Board Settings" , add the fields to display in backlog and in current sprints by going to "Card Layout" and add the field "Original Estimate".
Let me know how it goes, cheers.
Nico.

Hi Nico, thankyou for responding. I checked your suggestion but the only options I have beneath the three dots option is manage custom filters so this will not work for me - readings Trudy's reply above and checking what JIRA I am using it is a Team Managed Project.
I have found a workaround (but this was some effort for me to implement) by inserting the JIRA default estimate attribute into the Requirement, bug, task JIRA card template and working through all the existing JIRA cards created and moving the existing value inserted into the estimate attribute I had created into the default estimate attribute - this has worked but it took me some time. Next time when I am setting up the card templates I will ensure I use the default estimate attribute ;-)
