How can I create a burndown chart from the JIRA rest api?

I am wanting to recreate reports like the burndown chart with additional info. I need to access this info using the JIRA rest api.

Hi, did you get an answer for your question ? I need to do the same. I find scopechange entry point complicated when you just need ti draw a burndown graph. I use JIRA Software.
