The Structure plugin does allow multiple levels of tasks (as well as many other benefits), but while this sounds great, I’ve often found if you dig in to the real business needs, there will be a cleaner way to achieve what your users are wanting to do.

Hi @aditycse

As mentioned, you can’t. However can you clarify why you wanted this?

My guess is you are looking for:

  • Epics - Very large Tasks or stories.
  • Stories/Tasks - Smaller breakdowns of epics.
  • Sub-tasks: Smaller tasks needed to be fulfilled to complete your task.

If this is what you are looking for then you need to adjust your issues accordingly.

Else, @Randy reply is the correct answer. You can’t create a sub-task for a subtask.
