How can I custom a Jira core board ?

I used to see the priority of the issue, the issue type (defect, idea, task...), and many other things.

Basically it used to be like any other board that can be customised.

It seems that there is no custom feature at all for these types of boards ?? (swimlane, labels etc...)

You would like to see JIRA Software features in JIRA Core =) That is another license and another product... so you have to buy JIRA Software

So to manage a "Business Project" using a board that still be customized, I guess we just create it as a Software Project and modify the board settings to suit? That was not obvious when selecting a Business Project for one of many projects I just set up.
