Hi, One of my user has accidentally created a new Atlassian Product using the company's mail domain. I have communicated internally but nobody responded. I am thinking even the one who created it might not be aware of it. If I know the user then I can remove the newly created product. How do I find out this user with out taking "Atlassian Access" subscription which is costly.
Thanks,
Mahanth
Hi @Mahanth Prudhvi P - it sounds like you already have Atlassian Access and have verified your company's email address so that any user in that email domain is a "managed account".
If one of these users then creates their own personal Jira/Confluence site using their company email address (instead of their personal email address) then you will get the kind of notification you mentioned.
As Trudy suggested, you should be able to get more details from Atlassian Support. The information should also be available to you via the Atlassian Admin screens that your Org Admin has access to via Security > Monitoring > Discovered Products. This screen will show you the user(s) and the sites & products they created by using their company email address.
You will then need to contact the user(s) and ask them to request their subscription to be cancelled via Org Admin > Products > Cancel Subscription - this can take a few weeks, and afterwards the user can request the site is deleted. Your user will need to do these actions as they "own" the site they created rather than your company!
Great instructions however it seems Atlassian want you to subscribe to an additional product to see which users have created Products, "Atlassian Guard".
Any other ways of determining what these products are or who has created them?

Hello @Mahanth Prudhvi P
How do you know the product was created by one of your users?
It is possible that the product was created by somebody else entirely.
Does your company have a trademark on that domain? If so, you can reach out to Atlassian Support to ask for assistance. In the case of a trademarked name, they may reach out to the person who created the product and work with them to rename or shut down the product.

Thanks for the response.
We will be receiving a mail from Atlassian saying
Your users currently administer 1 product outside the ABC organization"
whenever a new product is created by one of our Managed user using our domain and I have received it.

Oh, I see. I thought you meant in naming the site they used your domain.
It appears that the interface for seeing the Discovered Products is part of the Atlassian Access plan.
In your case I recommend that you open a support case directly with Atlassian, letting them know that you received the email and asking for their help in identifying the user that created the product subscription.
